Before I show you how to get a tsunami of prospects for less than a cup of coffee a day, let me clue you in on something:
There is an easy way to constantly sell to both new and repeat clients, without being annoying or salesly.
No need for aggressive marketing tactics, or big-budget ad campaigns: just one small change to make finding new clients easier Let me show you:
How to get clients almost effortlessly, using a ‘lead magnet’
Now, I know what you’re thinking?“What the hell is a lead magnet? Is that some Star Wars reference?”
Put simply, a lead magnet is a valuable, extremely low-risk offer to your prospects in exchange for contact information.
Think of it like those leaflets that Jehovah's Witnesses keep popping through the door…
…except it’s something you actually WANT to see.
The best part is; that lead magnets come in all shapes and sizes.
Infographics.
Articles.
PDF guides.
Anything containing information that your audience would trade their left arm to get.
They’re an absolutely flawless way to get people interested in your business because:
You build trust with your audience before even speaking to them directly.
You build a list of interested prospects wanting to be marketed to.
Now, let me show you how to create a lead magnet that does both those things:
Pick a problem worth solving.
Most people can talk the talk, few can walk the walk.
There is nothing more enticing to a person than someone who can do both.
Who do you call when you're feeling sick? A doctor.
Who do you go to when your back hurts? A chiropractor.
Who do you contact to raise an army to conquer Europe?
Well, erm… don’t know who you go to for that.
If you can identify a common problem within your market, that’s what you want to base your lead magnet on.
Jam pack it full of value.
Nobody likes to be sold to, but everyone loves to buy.
We buy when we know we’re getting a good deal on something.
Your customers are only going to engage in your lead magnet if they can sense its got all the solutions to their problems.
Make whatever your lead magnet is so juicy with information, that it would be stupid not to download whatever you’re promoting.
Get deeper into the subject matter.
You know one of the easiest ways to mess up a lead magnet?
Talking about the same old stuff as all of your competitors.
Seems kind’ve dumb, but if you’re 99th eBook on a common dilemma in your industry, they’ll just see you as another annoying business just trying to collect emails to spam marketing messages instantly.
So, you’ve got to put in some minor brain calories and pick something that very few people thought about.
The more specific you are, the more likely you are to attract highly motivated leads that are more likely to convert into sales.
And isn’t that what this is all about?
One more thing…
Make it easy to consume.
If I said to you, ‘I’ve created the perfect guide on how to get more clients with meta ads (which by the way you can find here) without needing large budgets or a marketing team…
…but it’s 70 pages long, are you really going to read it?
Of course not. If you make the solution painful to consume, it doesn't matter how badly they want to solve their problem; they’re not going to put themselves through it.
And that’s good news!!
Who in their right mind wants to make a 70-page pdf guide? Or a 2hr podcast episode? Or a ‘5GB’s to download’ infographic?
It just needs to be substantial, not long-winded.
So considering this lead magnet strategy; it’ll do you far more good than harm.
Take it easy,
Daniel Gilbert.
